Ethos Watches

Working here at Ethos Watches in the Inorbit Mall is a bit different than the street-side shops. We are located at G-13, right on Linking Road in Vishal Nagar. The mall is always bright and the air conditioning stays cool, which is nice when it’s hot outside. It gets really crowded on the weekends with families and people just walking around to see the sights. I spend my shift behind the glass counters, looking at all the different brands we have on display. We see a lot of people who are looking for something specific, maybe for a gift or just to treat themselves. It’s a lot of talking to people and explaining how the different dials and features work. Even though it’s a big mall, we still get our regulars who live nearby on Linking Road. They like to stop in and see what’s new or get a link removed from a metal strap. The floors are always shiny, and everything is very organized compared to the little repair shops I used to go to. I have to wear a proper uniform and keep things looking sharp. It’s a busy environment, and there’s always music playing from the mall speakers in the background. Sometimes I miss the quiet of a small backstreet shop, but the energy here is good too. You meet all kinds of people in a place like this.
