If you go to the main market at 16 L T Marg, you will find us in the Court House Building. We are on the second floor. It is right above the Metro subway gate, so the area is always packed with people moving around. Being in a place like Village Dhanas area means there is constant noise from the street below. We have been here for a long time. The office is full of ledgers and samples. It’s a bit cramped because we have a lot of stuff coming in and out throughout the week. Most of the day is spent talking to suppliers or checking on orders that are coming through the market. It is a traditional way of doing business. You talk to people face to face. We don't use much technology besides the basic phone and an old computer. The stairs to the second floor are a bit steep but that’s just how these old buildings are. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It feels like a small community even though it’s a big city. When the subway lets out, the whole building almost vibrates with the crowd. We just keep working through it. Dealing with merchants and customers takes up all our energy. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just want to get the orders right and make sure the goods are delivered as promised to whoever needs them in the market.
