Culture Shop

Culture Shop is located at 93 Ground Floor on Central Avenue in Powai. It’s a pretty decent spot. Powai is a bit different from the rest of the city, maybe a little more planned out, but it still has its own rhythm. Being on the ground floor means we see a lot of people walking past. Some stop in, some just glance. We like being accessible like that. It’s not a high-pressure environment. We just have our space and we do our thing. The shop isn’t huge, but it’s ours. We try to keep it organized, though with the daily rush, things can get a bit out of place sometimes. That’s just how it goes. We don't use any of those buzzwords you hear in the bigger shops. We are just a local business on a busy street. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a relief in the summer. We know the other folks running shops on Central Avenue. We look out for each other. It’s a nice place to be. We are here most days, just taking care of customers and making sure everything is running okay. Nothing more, nothing less. It’s practical work for practical people. If you’re around Powai, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times without thinking much of it, and that’s totally fine by us. We keep things steady.
