Creative Handicrafts

Creative Handicrafts is tucked away at D/1 in Achanak Colony, right on Mahakali Caves Road in Andheri East. It’s a busy neighborhood and there’s always something going on outside our door. We’ve been here for many years and we consider ourselves a part of the local community. Our workshop is filled with the sounds of people working together. We focus on making things by hand, so there are no big, loud machines here. Just the steady rhythm of sewing and assembly. The space is a bit crowded with rolls of fabric and half-finished projects, but we like it that way. It feels like a real place where things are actually being made. We don't have a fancy corporate office with a receptionist. You just walk in and you’ll see us working at our tables. We take turns making tea for everyone and we often share our snacks during the afternoon break. It is a very social environment, which makes the work more enjoyable. We have seen many people from the colony come and go over the years. We try to provide a steady place for people to use their skills. We don't have a big marketing plan or a fancy website. We just do the work that comes our way and try to do it right. It’s a humble setup, but it’s been working for us for a long time.
