Crafts India

We are located at 2/1 on the ground floor of Om Sarvodaya Society in Andheri East. It is tucked away on 9th Main Road in the 3rd Block. Crafts India is a bit of a crowded space because we have so many different things stored in here. There are piles of fabric, bits of wood, and all sorts of handmade items taking up every corner. It is not the most organized place in Andheri, but we know where everything is. The light comes in through the front window in the mornings and that is when we do most of our sorting. Living and working in a society building means we know all the neighbors. They see us bringing in crates and boxes all the time. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic from the main road, but we are used to the hum of the city by now. We spend hours just looking at the details of the stuff we have here. It is a quiet kind of work most days. We do not have a big showroom with bright lights. It is just a ground floor room where we keep busy. We have a small kettle for making tea and that is usually running twice a day. It is just a simple business run by people who like making and finding things. We have been here for a good while and the walls could probably tell some stories about how much stuff has passed through.
