Cottage Industries Exposition Ltd

We are down in Mumbai at Ali Dada Chawl. It is in Ward No 10, a place that stays busy all day and most of the night too. Cottage Industries Exposition Ltd has been operating out of this spot for a good bit of time. Being in a chawl means we are right in the middle of everything. It’s not a quiet office park or a mall. It is just a real, lived-in part of Maharashtra 400 022. We deal with a lot of different things throughout the week. Sometimes it’s crowded and we have to move boxes around just to make a path. That’s just how it is in this part of town. We don’t mind the noise much. The people around here are friendly and we all know each other. We focus on the work at hand without making a big fuss about it. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to keep our business running and handle our daily chores. You won't find any marble floors here, just a practical workspace that does the job. We see a lot of foot traffic passing by the ward. It’s a humble setup, but it works for what we need. We open early most days to beat the heat. Dealing with cottage industry goods keeps us on our toes. It is honest work and we are glad to be doing it here. It’s been our home base for years and we're used to it.
