Coconet

Coconet is tucked away in Shop Number 5 of the New Lake Palace housing society. We are right on Plot 7-B in the Powai area. It’s a bit of a busy spot because we are right opposite Adishankaracharya Road. You can usually hear the traffic moving outside all day long. Being part of a cooperative housing society means we see a lot of the same people every week. The shop itself is pretty small, but it’s enough space for the computers and the equipment we need. We don’t go for anything polished or high-end in terms of looks. It’s a local business where the focus is just on getting the jobs done. Most days are spent handling networking issues or helping someone get their internet sorted out. It can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of hardware delivered at once. We don’t use any fancy scripts when people call us. We just answer the phone and see what the problem is. Powai has grown a lot, but this little corner feels pretty consistent. We like being here because the lake is nearby even if we don’t get to see it from the shop window. It’s a straightforward operation and we don’t try to pretend to be a giant corporation. We are just a small team working out of a shop in a residential building.
