Chetna Watch Services

You’ll find Chetna Watch Services right near Orlem Church in Malad West. It’s a good landmark, so people usually find us without too much trouble. Malad is a busy place, and there’s always something going on near the church. We’ve been here for a while, mostly helping out the people who live in the neighborhood. We fix all kinds of watches. Some are cheap ones that people wear every day, and others are special ones they only wear for church on Sundays. We don't judge. A watch is important to the person who owns it, so we treat them all with some respect. I spend a lot of time looking through my loupe at tiny gears and hairsprings. It can be frustrating when a part won't fit, but that's the job. We don't have a big team or anything corporate like that. It’s just us in the shop. We talk to the customers about their day while we swap out a battery or fix a clasp. It’s a friendly place. Sometimes someone just stops by to say hello. We keep the shop clean, but it's definitely a working space, not a showroom. Malad West has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of it. We keep the watches ticking and the people on time, as much as anyone can be on time in this city. It’s been a good many years here and we hope to keep at it for many more.
