C. J. Exporters

We are up on the second floor of Prasad Chambers, in Room 203, right in the Opera House area. If you know Mumbai, you know how hectic and loud it gets around here every single day. C. J. Exporters is a small office, and it is usually filled with papers, samples, and people talking on the phone to suppliers. We have been in this building for years. The elevators are always slow, and the hallways are narrow, but it is the heart of the trade district. We do not have a fancy showroom for people to walk through. It is just a place where we do our business and handle the exports. Most of our day is spent checking shipping schedules and talking to people at the docks. It is a lot of coordination and making sure the paperwork is exactly right, otherwise, the customs people will give us trouble and things get delayed. We do not use a lot of big corporate talk or marketing language. We just focus on moving the goods from one place to another. Sometimes it gets stressful when a shipment is stuck, but that is just the nature of this business. We have learned to deal with the stress over the years. We know the other people in the building, and we grab tea from the same stall downstairs every afternoon. It is a busy life, but it is ours. We just keep moving forward.
