Biq Exports

Biq Exports is based in Ghatkopar, right on the Sriram Pura Main Road. We have an office in the Presidential Towers, specifically in the D Wing, room 704. Being on the 18th Cross makes it pretty easy to find if you are familiar with this side of the city. The view from the 7th floor gives us a good look at the neighborhood, which is always moving and changing. We spend a lot of our time sitting at computers and talking on the phone to people in different time zones. It is a lot of coordination and sorting through paperwork. Exporting isn’t as simple as just putting things in a box; there are always many forms to fill out and shipping schedules to check every hour. The office is usually quiet, except for the sound of the printer running or someone talking to a shipping agent about a container. We have a few desks and a lot of filing cabinets for our records. It is a professional environment but it is not stiff or formal like a bank. We just get on with the daily task of moving products across the borders. Ghatkopar is a central spot, so it is convenient for getting to the port when we need to check on a shipment. Sometimes the days are very long when we are waiting for an email from another country. We drink a lot of tea here.
