Bhagat Art Glass

Bhagat Art Glass is tucked away in Ghatkopar East, over in the Jb Nagar area. If you’ve ever been to our shop, you know it’s filled with glass of all kinds. There’s always a bit of cutting and grinding going on, so it’s never really quiet here. We’ve been in Ghatkopar East for a long time, and Jb Nagar is where we feel most at home. The shop is a bit messy with scraps and tools lying around, but we know where everything is. We aren't one of those high-end showrooms. We’re a working shop where things actually get made. You might find a bit of dust on your shoes when you leave, but that’s part of the trade. I’ve been working with glass since I was young, and Bhagat Art Glass is just an extension of that. We handle the pieces carefully, but the atmosphere is very casual. Neighbors often pop their heads in just to say hello or see what we’re working on. It’s a local business through and through. We don’t have a big marketing team or a fancy website. We just rely on the work we do here in Jb Nagar. It’s a honest way to make a living, and we like the people in this part of Mumbai. The floor is usually covered in fine dust by noon, so we keep a broom handy. It is hard work but we enjoy it.
