Art Home is located at 4, Jerbai Baug, right above the Central Bank of India on Dr. B.A. Road in Byculla East. It’s a fairly easy place to spot once you are in the area. Being on the floor above the bank means we have a bit of a view of the street below, which is always packed with traffic. Byculla is a busy part of Mumbai, and Dr. B.A. Road is one of the main veins. We’ve been in this space for quite a while now. The building has that older character you find in this part of town. Our setup inside is pretty basic. We have our workspace laid out in a way that makes sense for us, even if it might look a bit cluttered to someone else. We don't have a fancy reception or anything like that. People just come up and we talk to them directly. It’s a very informal environment. We spend our days managing the inventory and taking care of the small details. Working in Byculla East has its challenges, like the noise and the crowds, but it’s also very convenient for getting around. We are used to the sounds of the city coming through the windows. It’s just us here, doing our daily tasks and making sure the business keeps ticking along. We like the history of Jerbai Baug and are glad to have our spot here at number 4.
