Arredo

Arredo is situated in the Ashiana Building, right on Bhulabhai Desai Road in the Mahalaxmi area. We are quite close to the Mahalakshmi Temple, which means there are always crowds and lots of activity around here, especially on certain days of the week. Our space inside the building is where we keep all our samples and the designs we show to people. It’s a nice enough building, and we’ve tried to make our corner of it look decent so people can see what kind of furniture and decor we deal with. It’s not a massive showroom, but we have enough room to display some pieces and sit down with a cup of tea to talk about what might fit in someone’s house. We spend a lot of time looking at catalogs and talking to the people who make the items. Sometimes things arrive late or the finish isn't exactly what we expected, so we have to sort those things out before the customer sees them. It’s a lot of coordination and phone calls to different workshops. The area is quite busy with traffic, but once you step inside the Ashiana Building, it gets a bit calmer. We’ve been in this Mahalaxmi neighborhood for a while now, and we get a lot of locals who are just renovating their apartments and need something specific. We don't do much fancy talk, we just show what we have and see if it works for the space.
