Anira Exports

We’ve been here at Malabar Apartments for a long time now. If you know Napeansea Road, you know it gets quite busy around here with the traffic and all, but our office on the 7th floor stays mostly quiet. It’s not a huge setup, just G/12. We spend most of our days looking at papers and dealing with the shipping side of things. Honestly, the elevator in this building is a bit slow sometimes, so we end up waiting around a lot, talking to the neighbors or the security downstairs. We started doing export work because that’s what we knew. It’s just me and a couple of others keeping track of where things are going. We don’t have fancy furniture or a big meeting room. Most of the work happens on old desks piled with files. Some people think exports is all about traveling, but mostly it’s just phone calls and making sure the boxes are packed right. Living and working in this part of town has its own rhythm. We’ve seen the street change over the years. We just try to keep up with the orders coming in. It’s a bit of a trek up to the 7th floor if the power goes out, but that doesn’t happen too much anymore. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks. It’s a simple operation, really. Not much more to say about it than that.
