Angarki Art Print H O is tucked into the Savji Mysor Estate at 1 P P Road. We are right next to Sona Udyog in Andheri East, which is a very industrial and busy part of Mumbai. This area is always moving, with trucks and couriers coming in and out all day long. Our office and workshop space is where all the actual printing happens. We have been here for a long time, and the estate has a very practical, hardworking feel to it. It’s not the kind of place where you come for a fancy corporate meeting; it’s where you come to get work done. The machines take up a lot of room and they can be quite loud when we have a big run going for a customer. We spend our days managing schedules and making sure the prints come out the way they should. Andheri East is a tough place to commute to sometimes, but being near Sona Udyog makes it easy for people to find us once they get into the estate. We don’t spend much time on decor or making the place look polished. It is a workspace through and through, with some ink on the floor and stacks of paper everywhere you look. We just focus on the machines and the orders that come across our desks every morning. It’s a busy life but we are used to the pace of this part of Mumbai, and it works for us.
