Akarshan Exports

Akarshan Exports is based out of Bhuleshwar at number 30 in Nanik Nivas, right on Benham Hall Lane. If you know the area, you know how narrow and crowded the lanes are around here. We have a small office space where we handle all the paperwork for the export side of things. It’s an old building and the stairs are a bit steep to climb up every day. We mostly deal with textiles and small goods that go out of the country. There are always stacks of samples and fabric swatches lying around on the desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing out lists of what needs to be shipped. The window looks out onto the street and it’s always loud with the sounds of carts and people shouting. It’s not a very quiet place to work but it’s where all the business happens in this part of town. Sometimes the electricity goes off for a bit but we just wait it out. We’ve been in Nanik Nivas for quite some time now and know the other traders nearby. We don't have a showroom or anything like that. It’s just a place to get the work done and move the goods. We keep things pretty simple and just focus on the orders we have to fill each week without much fuss.
