Kalpana Export

Down at Poomerynagar Unit No. 20, things stay pretty busy for us. We are Kalpana Export, located right on the Jv Link Road near Arey Milk Colony. It’s a green area, but the road is always packed with trucks and cars. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure the boxes are packed right before they go out. The humidity here can be a bit much sometimes, especially during the monsoon when we have to worry about the roof leaking near the storage area. It’s a straightforward operation. We have a small group of guys who handle the heavy lifting and the paperwork. We don’t have a fancy showroom because that’s not what we do. It’s more about moving goods and keeping track of where everything is headed. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit around for a bit, but usually, we are on our feet all day. The JV Link Road makes it easy for the transport vehicles to find us, though the traffic can be a nightmare in the evenings. We’ve been in this unit for a while and the neighbors are mostly other small businesses doing similar work. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We just focus on the shipments and making sure nothing gets left behind in the warehouse. We deal with whatever problems pop up, like a late truck or a missing box, and just keep going.
