St Thomas School

Our school, St Thomas School, is located on Bejai New Road in Mangalore. We are in a building called Sharada, and the address is Door No 2-13-1151. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it stays a bit quieter than the main roads. The school isn't very large, but we have enough room for the different classes we run. We have a small gate at the front and a bit of space where the children wait for their parents in the afternoon. Inside, the rooms are filled with basic wooden furniture and charts on the walls. Bejai is a nice part of town, and we’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us by name. Sometimes the rain in Mangalore makes the walk to Bejai New Road a bit difficult, but we all just wear our boots and carry umbrellas. The office is small and usually has a stack of papers waiting to be filed. We don't go in for anything too decorative; it’s a functional place meant for learning. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we walk or take a quick rickshaw to get here. It’s a simple, local school where we follow the usual curriculum and try to keep the kids engaged with their books. There’s a certain pace to life here in Bejai that we all appreciate, and the school is just another part of that daily cycle for the families living nearby.
