Ganapathy English Medium School

This school is right on G H S Road in the heart of Mangalore. If you know the area, you know how busy it can get with all the shops and traffic nearby. We’ve been part of this street for quite some time now. The building is a bit older, which gives it a familiar feel to the people who grew up around here. Every morning, the sound of the school bell competes with the noise from the road and the nearby market. We have students coming in from all parts of the city. The classrooms are filled with rows of benches and desks that have seen many years of use and have a few scratches on them. Our staff are regular people from the community who just want to see the kids learn their lessons well. We don't have a big fancy campus with huge fields, but we make use of every corner we have available. The monsoon season in Mangalore is always a challenge, with umbrellas everywhere and wet floors, but we just keep the classes running regardless of the weather. The office is a small room where we handle all the fees and admissions, and it’s usually quite a busy spot with parents dropping by. We focus on the basics here—reading, writing, and making sure the students follow the rules. It’s a typical city school where everyone knows everyone else. There’s a lot of talking in the corridors and a lot of work happening.
