St Therese School

Our school, St Therese School, is located at Geethakrishna House on Kadri Temple Road. This is right in the Kadri part of Mangalore, zip code 575002. Being on the temple road is interesting because there’s always something happening outside. There are festivals and people walking by all the time. Our building isn't a new one; it’s an older house that we’ve converted for school use. It has a bit of an old-world charm, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint every now and then. We aren't trying to be a fancy international school or anything like that. We are just a local place for children in the Kadri area. Most of our staff live nearby and have been with us for years. We don't have a big budget for advertising, so we just rely on people seeing us as they go to the temple or walk down the street. Mangalore can get very humid, so we try to keep the rooms as airy as possible. It’s a humble setup, but it works for what we need. We just focus on the students and the daily lessons. There isn't much more to it than that. We are just a group of people working together in Geethakrishna House. It’s a straightforward life, and we are happy to be a part of the Kadri community. If you pass by, you can’t miss us. It’s just how things have always been here for us. We're just around the corner from the main temple.
