St Teresa Convent School

St Teresa Convent School is located on KS Rao Road, which is one of the main spots in Mangalore. It’s a busy area with lots of shops and people passing by all day long. Our school has been standing here for quite a while now. The building is old and has that solid feel to it. You can see the history in the staircases and the high ceilings. We have a lot of students coming in every morning, and the gates get pretty crowded during drop-off time. It’s a typical convent school atmosphere. We keep things orderly, but there is always the sound of children playing or reciting lessons. The staff have been here for years and they know most of the families in the neighborhood. We don't go in for much modern flashiness. The desks are wooden and the blackboards are well-used. We have a small courtyard where things happen during the day. Mangalore weather can be unpredictable, so we spend a lot of time dealing with either the heat or the heavy rains. We don't have a marketing team writing stories about us. We are just a local school doing the same things we've done for a long time. It’s about the daily routine of bells, lessons, and lunch breaks. Most of the people around here went to school here themselves or know someone who did. It’s just a steady part of life on KS Rao Road and we plan to keep it that way for years.
