St Thomas English Medium School

We are located in the Roman & Catherine Lobo School For The Blind Building on 3rd Cross Kotekani Road. This is in the Kadri neighborhood of Mangalore, 575002. St Thomas English Medium School has its classrooms right here in this shared space. It’s a bit of a unique situation, but it works out well for us. Kotekani Road is a bit more tucked away than the main thoroughfares, so it feels a little more private. We don't have our own big, separate building. We share the space and keep things simple. Mangalore is a place where many institutions help each other out, and this is just one example of that. Our school isn't filled with high-end gadgets or expensive furniture. We just have the basics that we need to teach the kids every day. It’s a very grounded, local atmosphere. We don't do much in terms of promotion. Most parents find us because they live in Kadri or they know someone whose children come here. We just show up every morning, do our work, and head home in the evening. The 3rd Cross is a nice little spot, and we’ve grown quite fond of it over the years. It’s not a perfect place, and the building shows its age, but it’s where we are and we’re okay with that. It’s just a normal part of life here in Mangalore for us. We just do what needs to be done every day. We've seen a lot of rains here.
