St Theresa School

St Theresa School is based in a building called Krishna Nivas, which is located in Lower Bendoor. We are in the Bendoor area of Mangalore, and our pin code is 575002. It’s a relatively quiet part of town compared to the city center. We’ve been operating out of this house for quite some time. It feels more like a home than a school sometimes, which we think is a good thing for the kids. We aren't a massive school with hundreds of rooms. We are a bit smaller and more personal. The neighborhood around Lower Bendoor is full of families who have lived here for ages. We know most of our neighbors by name. The building itself, Krishna Nivas, has a lot of history and character. It’s not a modern concrete block. Mangalore is a beautiful place, and being in Bendoor gives us a nice atmosphere to work in every day. We don't have a big office or a team of people trying to sell the school to anyone. We just open the gates in the morning and do our work. The hallways can be a bit narrow and the rooms have that old-style feel to them. We like it that way. It’s just a normal school for normal people in a nice part of Mangalore. If you’re ever walking through Lower Bendoor, you’ll likely hear the kids’ voices coming from our windows. That’s just us. We've been here for years and we plan to stay.
