We are located at 124 Nethaji Road. If you’ve walked down this street, you know it’s one of the busiest spots around. There’s always someone moving, whether it’s people going to work or vendors setting up their stalls. Our building stands right in the thick of it all. It’s a large enough place, but it always feels full because there’s so much going on. We don't spend our time writing fancy slogans or trying to look corporate. Most of the work at Thangamayil Jewellery is just about managing the daily flow of people coming through the doors. The floors get scuffed from all the foot traffic, and we’re constantly tidying up the counters to keep things looking decent. It’s a loud environment with the sound of the street coming in every time the door opens. Our staff is mostly local people who have been with us for a long time. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. We just focus on keeping the stock organized and making sure everyone gets helped eventually. It gets really hectic during the festival seasons, and we often stay late just to get everything put away for the next day. It’s a lot of hard work, but it’s just part of being on Nethaji Road. We don't try to be something we’re not; we’re just a busy shop in a very busy town.
