Sri Periyaandavar Foods

Sri Periyaandavar Foods is located at No. 57/30 on North Raja Street. It is a fairly narrow building in an older part of town that has been around for a very long time. We handle a lot of traditional food preparation here and we still do most of the work by hand. We have a couple of large stoves and big pots that are usually simmering with something from early in the morning. The street outside stays crowded with people and bicycles all day long. We don't have a big neon sign, just the house number and our name written simply on the wall. Inside the building, it is just our small team working away. We don't wear uniforms and we don't have a front reception desk. If someone needs us, they usually just shout from the front door and one of us will go out to see them. We have been doing things this way for years and haven't seen a reason to change much. North Raja Street has a busy rhythm and we are just another part of it. Sometimes it gets very hot because of the stoves, so we take breaks outside when we can. We aren't trying to become a huge company. We just want to keep the place running and do a good job. It is basic work that feels right to us.
