Royal Masala Food Products

Royal Masala Food Products is basically just me and a couple of others working out of our place at No. 90 A on Madakkulam Main Road. If you know where the Madakkulam Bus Stop is, you’ve probably walked right past us without thinking much of it. We spend most of our mornings getting things ready before the sun gets too hot. It gets pretty noisy outside with the buses constantly pulling in and out, but we’re used to it by now. We deal with all sorts of spices and food items here. Sometimes the air in the shop gets so thick with the smell of ground chilies or turmeric that anyone new walking in starts sneezing right away, though we don't notice it much anymore. It’s a busy little spot in Madakkulam. We don’t have fancy machines or anything like that, just the basic stuff we need to get the work done. My father started things here years ago, and we just kept going. People from the neighborhood come in and ask for what they need, and we weigh it out for them. It’s not a big corporate operation, just a local business trying to keep up with the daily orders. We try to keep the shop clean, but with all the spice dust, it’s a constant battle. Usually, by the time the evening rush starts at the bus stop, we’re finishing up our last few tasks for the day and heading home.
