Raghav Granite

Raghav Granite is located at Plot No. 36/2-A2 in Village Sengottai. It is out near Sivagangai, which is part of the Madurai district. If you are driving on the Shivgangai Road, you’re close to us. It’s a bit of a drive out from the main city, but it's where the space is. We have a good amount of land here to store the granite blocks and slabs. The village area is usually peaceful, except for when the saws are running. We’ve been at this spot for a while, and the locals all know where we are. It’s not a fancy setup, just a regular work site with some sheds and a lot of stone. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early in the morning. Granite is heavy stuff, so we spend a lot of time with the cranes and making sure everything is stacked safely. Sometimes the roads around Sengottai get a bit rough after the monsoon, but we manage to get the trucks in and out. We don’t really do big advertisements. Most people just hear about us from someone else or see the trucks moving. We just stay busy with the stone and try to keep the yard in some kind of order. It's a simple way of working.
