Sri Krishna Stones

Sri Krishna Stones is located at 145/2 on 2nd Street. We have been here for quite a while now, working with stone day in and day out. It is a local business through and through. 2nd Street can be a bit busy, but we like the energy of the area. We spend our time managing the stock and helping out whoever walks through the door. It’s not a polished environment. There is usually dust on the floors and the sound of stone being moved around. We don't have a marketing department or any big corporate plans. We just focus on the task at hand. Every piece of stone we have is a bit different, which makes the work interesting. We have to be careful with the lifting because everything is so heavy. Sometimes we have a good variety of stones and other times we are waiting for new stock to arrive. We try to be honest about what we have and what we can do. We don't use any fancy sales talk. Most of our customers are just regular people from the neighborhood or local contractors. We like being a part of this community on 2nd Street. It’s a lot of hard work, but we are used to it by now and just keep moving. We usually end our day by tidying up the tools and making a list for the next morning.
