Mahadev Granite

Mahadev Granite is located over at No: 44/1A, 33, 3A, 3B on Shivaganga Main Road. It’s a busy spot in Sivaganga and we’re right there in the middle of it. Mostly we spend our time dealing with granite. It’s heavy stuff and the yard stays pretty full most of the year. We have been here for a good bit now, and folks around Sivaganga know the location well enough. It's not a corporate place with shiny floors or anything like that. It's just a stone yard. We have different slabs coming in and out all week long. Sometimes the sun is really beating down on the granite, and other times we’re dealing with the rain, but the work doesn’t really stop for the weather. People come by looking for pieces for their kitchens or houses. We just show them what we have on the lot at the time and let them decide. There is a lot of loading and unloading. You get used to the noise of the trucks and the cranes. Shivaganga Main Road is always moving and we’re just part of that traffic. We are just a local crew doing our thing. We don't do fancy advertising or anything like that. Most people just see the sign or hear about us from someone else in town. It’s a lot of physical labor, keeping the slabs organized. We just try to get the work done every day.
