Padmavathi Granite

We’ve been here on Sivagangaii Main Road for a good while now. It’s right in Nattaramangalam, and honestly, the dust from the road gets on everything, but that’s just how it is when you’re dealing with stone. Padmavathi Granite is basically just a big yard where we keep all the slabs. It’s 51/1-51/2 if you’re looking for the specific plot numbers on the map. Most days we are just moving things around with the crane or talking to people who pull over because they saw something they liked from the street. It isn’t a fancy setup. There is a small office where we sit when it gets too hot outside, but mostly we are out back. The traffic on the main road never really stops, so it’s always loud. We have different types of granite stacked up. Some of it sits there for a week, some of it stays for months. It depends on what people are building nearby. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the heavy lifting without breaking anything. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit of a mess, but we manage. If you come by, you’ll probably see us drinking tea near the entrance. It’s a straightforward business. We don't spend much time on decorations or making the place look like a showroom. The stone is what it is. That's pretty much the whole story of this place.
