P. R. P. Granites

We are located right here in Keelavalavu, not too far from the Veerakali Amman Koil. If you know the area, you know it gets quite dusty and hot most days around the quarry sites. P. R. P. Granites has been operating out of this spot for a while now. Most mornings start with the sound of machinery and workers getting things ready. We spend a lot of time looking at different slabs of stone. It is heavy work. Sometimes the weather makes it hard, especially when the rains come and the ground gets muddy, but we keep going. The temple nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning. It is mostly just the yard and the stone. People stop by to ask about prices or just to see what we have in stock that day. We try to keep things simple. Dealing with granite means your hands are always rough. We see a lot of trucks coming in and going out with blocks. It’s a busy life here in this part of Tamil Nadu. We just focus on getting the stone cut and moved to where it needs to go. Sometimes the power goes out, which slows us down, but that’s just how it is here. We aren't trying to be anything big or corporate, just a local place doing what we know how to do with the materials from this land.
