Mukil Chinese Restaurants

We run this Chinese food spot in the Anna Nagar area of Madurai, specifically on Thasildar Nagar Road. It isn't a massive restaurant with a hundred tables. We keep it small and manageable. I started this because I wanted to see more variety in the food around here. The kitchen is the main part of the shop, and you can usually hear the pans clanking if you stand near the counter. We don’t use any secret recipes or anything, just standard ingredients we get from the market every morning. The chicken and vegetables have to be fresh or the taste just isn't right. Most people who eat with us are regulars who live or work nearby. They come in for a quick plate of fried rice or noodles after their shift. The seating is just basic tables and stools, nothing fancy for a long stay. We handle a lot of parcels too, especially in the evenings when families don’t want to cook. Madurai can be very hot, so the kitchen gets a bit intense, but we stay busy. My brother helps me with the orders and sometimes we have a boy to deliver locally on his cycle. We aren't looking to be the most famous place in town. We just want to make sure the food is hot and ready when someone walks in the door.
