Rekha Granite

Our place, Rekha Granite, is situated at 267 Mateshwari Store on Kamarajar Salai Road. It’s a busy enough street, so there is always something going on outside. We have been here for some time now, just handling the granite trade as it comes. The shop isn't anything special to look at, but it serves its purpose for storing the slabs and meeting people who need stone. We usually have a variety of colors and patterns sitting around, depending on what we could get in that week. It is a family-run kind of vibe, where everyone just chips in to help. Dealing with granite is heavy work, so we spend a lot of time just moving things from one side to the other. Sometimes the traffic on Kamarajar Salai Road makes deliveries a bit of a headache, but we manage. We aren't looking to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do right by the people who walk through the door. It gets a bit messy with all the stone dust, but we try to sweep up when we can. If you're walking past Mateshwari Store, that's where you'll find us. We don't have any fancy slogans or marketing tricks. It’s just us and the stone, day in and day out, trying to keep the business going. We’ve gotten to know the other shop owners around here pretty well over the years.
