Gokulam Tiles

Gokulam Tiles is situated in the Nathigam Building at No. 97/55 on N. S. K. Salai. Being in Kodambakkam means we are right in the middle of a very lively neighborhood. Our shop isn't huge, but we use the space as best as we can to show off different tile samples on the walls and floors. It gets a bit cramped when a few customers come in at the same time, but we make it work. We have been here for a while, so the building itself has a bit of character to it. Usually, we spend our mornings checking the latest shipments and making sure nothing got cracked during the move. N. S. K. Salai is a busy stretch, so there is always something happening outside our door. We mostly deal with local residents or small contractors who are doing up a kitchen or a bathroom nearby. We do not use any high-pressure tactics; we just let people walk around and look at the colors and textures for themselves. If they have a question, we are right there to help out. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break, but otherwise, we are busy helping folks pick out what they need. It is a decent way to spend the day, right here in the heart of Kodambakkam, surrounded by the usual city noise.
