Jain Stones

We are Jain Stones, and we operate out of No. 79/1 and 79/3 B on the Sivagangai Main Road. Our place is quite easy to spot because we are right near the Polytechnic College in Varichiyur. It is a good landmark for people who haven't been out this way before. Varichiyur is a bit outside the main city rush, which gives us the physical space we need for all the stones we keep on-site. The college is just down the road, so there are always students and buses moving around nearby. Our site is basically a large yard. It’s filled with various types of stones stacked up in rows. We spend most of our time out there in the heat, checking the inventory and helping with the loading when a truck arrives. It’s not a glamorous job. There is a lot of dust and the work is physically heavy. The office is small and mostly just for keeping the records straight and taking calls. We don't have any mission statements or corporate goals plastered on the walls. We just focus on the stones we have in the yard and getting them to the people who need them. Being on the Sivagangai Main Road means we see a lot of through-traffic all day long. It’s a busy route, but we’ve gotten used to the constant hum of the engines. We have been at this Varichiyur location for some time now.
