Gv Granites

Our place, Gv Granites, is over at 488 Thalai Street in Gomathipuram. It’s not a big fancy office, just a simple yard where we keep our stone. We’ve been here for a good while now. Most days it’s just us moving heavy slabs of granite around and making sure things are cut right. It gets really dusty, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. My cousin comes by to help with the loading when a big truck arrives. We don’t have those glossy brochures you see in big cities. If you want to see what we have, you just walk through the stacks and look. Sometimes the weather gets really hot, and we have to take breaks in the small shade under the tin roof. The neighbors know us well since we’ve been on Thalai Street so long. We handle a lot of local kitchen and flooring jobs. It’s hard work on the back, but we’re used to the weight of the stone by now. Sometimes the slabs have little cracks or marks, so we have to work around those. We just try to get the pieces moved without any trouble. Gomathipuram is a decent area to work in, though it gets a bit crowded with traffic in the evenings. We just keep our heads down and get the granite ready for whoever needs it next.
