G R I Food

Our place, G R I Food, is at 155, Karpaga Nagar in K Pudur. It’s a decent-sized spot in a neighborhood that’s mostly houses with a few shops scattered around. We’ve been here for a while and the people around here are mostly used to us being around. The building is painted a light color, though it’s faded a bit over the years from the sun. Inside, it smells like work and maybe a bit of coffee if someone just made a cup. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles. There’s a main table where we do most of the sorting and a few chairs that have seen better days. It’s a practical workspace, not a showroom. We get a lot of sun in the mornings, which is nice until it gets too hot around noon. Then we shut the blinds and keep working in the shade. The street outside isn’t too busy, which is a relief compared to the main roads. We know the postman and the guy who sells fruit down the block. It’s that kind of place. We don’t spend money on big ads or fancy flyers. People usually find us through word of mouth or by just walking past. We just focus on keeping the place clean and getting the daily tasks done without too much fuss. It’s a steady rhythm that suits us just fine.
