Emar Restaurant

If you find yourself on Bye Pass Road in Madurai, you have probably seen our sign for Emar Restaurant. We are located at No 91/3, right in the middle of the city's hustle. Madurai is a hot place, so we try to keep things moving inside. The 625001 area is always crowded with people traveling through or locals just going about their business. We see a lot of different faces every single day. Some people are in a hurry, others sit for a bit longer. We don’t really do anything fancy here. It’s just a kitchen and some tables where people can eat. My family and a few helpers run the place. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The noise from the road never really stops, but you get used to it after a month or two. Madurai City is big, but our little corner feels like home to us. We wake up early to get things ready before the first rush. Sometimes we run out of things, and we just have to tell people we're out. That’s how it is. It’s a basic restaurant on a busy bypass. No big decorations or expensive furniture. Just a place to grab a meal when you are hungry. We stay busy with the local crowd mostly. It is a lot of hard work but we are still here.
