Appetiz

If you take Kankeyanallur Road and look for 12/89 in Vellkkal Madu, you will find us tucked away. Appetiz is really just a reflection of what we like to do. We ended up on this road because it felt right at the time. It is a busy stretch, and there is always something going on outside our windows. We didn't want to be in a big corporate park because that just isn't our style. We like the grit and the reality of the street. Inside, it's pretty basic. We have some desks, some storage, and a lot of coffee. Usually, one of us is running out to get supplies while the other stays back to handle the phone. It’s not a fancy setup, but it works for what we need. People in Vellkkal Madu are friendly, and we have gotten to know the shopkeepers nearby over the years. We spend a lot of time just organizing things and making sure everything is in its place. Sometimes the traffic on Kankeyanallur Road makes it hard for deliveries to pull in, so we end up carrying stuff by hand from the corner. It builds character, I guess. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just want to do a decent job today so we can come back and do it again tomorrow. It’s a small life, but it’s ours.
