Khera Palace

Khera Palace is located at number 8, right opposite Kapoor Hospital in the Old Sabji Mandi area, within Shri Ram Market in Shivpuri. It’s a very specific part of town, and being across from a hospital means there are always people around at all hours. The Old Sabji Mandi is a busy place, especially in the early hours of the morning when the vegetables are coming in. By the time we open up, the main rush of the mandi is usually dying down, but the street stays active. Shri Ram Market is a tight-knit community of shopkeepers, and we all know each other well. Our building is a simple structure that’s been part of Shivpuri for years. It’s not a palace in the literal sense, just a name we’ve used for a long time. Inside, it’s mostly open space where we handle our business. We don’t have a lot of fancy furniture, just some sturdy tables and chairs for when we need to sit down and talk through an order. The smell of the market is always there—a mix of fresh produce and the general city air. It’s a practical place to work, and we like being in the middle of everything. If you are coming from the main Shivpuri road, just follow the signs toward the hospital and you will see us at number 8. We’re usually around most days, just keeping things running and helping out whoever stops by. It’s just how we do things.
