Chilli Flakes

The place is tucked away on Rajpura Road here in Ludhiana, right near KVM School. If you know Tagore Nagar, you know it gets pretty busy when school lets out. We have been at B19 909/B for a while now. It isn't a huge fancy spot, just a regular corner where we do our thing. Some days the traffic is a bit much, but that is just how things go in this part of town. People walk by all the time, mostly neighbors or folks heading to work. We spend a lot of time just keeping the shop tidy and making sure everything is ready for whoever walks through the door. The weather gets really hot in the summer, so we try to keep it cool inside. It’s a simple setup. We don't have big signs or anything like that. Just the name Chilli Flakes on the front. Sometimes the delivery bikes make a lot of noise outside, but you get used to it. We know the shopkeepers around here pretty well. It feels like a small community even though Ludhiana is big. We keep the floor swept and the tables wiped down. Most of our day is just routine. We start early, open up the shutters, and see who comes by. It’s honest work. Nothing too complicated or fancy about how we run things here. We just like being part of the neighborhood and serving the people who live and work around Tagore Nagar.
