Bee Cee Food Caters

If you look for us behind Mohni Di Kothi in Bank Colony, you’ll find our setup on that 22 feet road. It’s a bit of a maze getting back there from Noorwala Road Extension, but we’ve been here long enough that the local rickshaw pullers know the way. Bee Cee Food Caters is basically a group of us who enjoy cooking for large groups. We’re right near the Jalandhar Bye Pass Chowk, so it’s always busy and a bit dusty outside. Our kitchen isn't anything out of a magazine. It’s got blackened walls from the soot and big industrial burners that roar when they’re full blast. We do a lot of work for folks in Basant Vihar and around the colony. Sometimes we have to carry heavy crates down that narrow road when the trucks can’t get all the way in. It’s a lot of hard work that people don’t see. We deal with the heat, the spilled bags of flour, and the constant washing of giant ladles. We aren't trying to win awards. We just want to make sure when someone hires us for a lunch or a wedding, they get enough to eat. Sometimes we run out of one thing and have to scramble to make more. It’s just the way the catering business goes. We stay busy, we keep the stoves lit, and we try to stay out of the way of the traffic.
