A One Cattering

A One Cattering is right by the Daresi Ground in Ludhiana, specifically in the Bajwa Nagar area. If you know where the Arorevansh Dharamshala is, we are just a short walk from there. It’s a busy spot, especially when there are fairs or big events at the ground. We don't have a polished office with a receptionist. Usually, you’ll find me or one of the guys washing out the big metal vats or sorting through sacks of flour. It’s Ludhiana, so things are always moving fast and it can get pretty loud with all the traffic. We started this because we knew how to cook for large groups of people without making a fuss. It’s not about having a fancy menu with names you can’t pronounce. We just make the food that people like to eat at weddings and local gatherings. Sometimes the weather gets really cold in the winter, and we’re out there by the stoves trying to stay warm while we fry up snacks. The floor in the prep area is always a bit damp because we’re constantly cleaning things. People from the neighborhood just stop by to chat or to book us for a small function at their house. We don't do much advertising, we just rely on the fact that we’ve been here in Bajwa Nagar for a long time and people know who we are.
