Footprints Adventure

We are located on the first floor of the Raku Complex, which is on Fort Road in Leh. It is a busy part of town, but we like being where everything is happening. My name is one of the folks here, and we have been running Footprints Adventure for quite a while now. Most days you will find us sitting in the office, checking over our trekking gear or talking to people who wander in off the street. The mountains are right there when you look out the window. We focus on getting people out into the landscape, plain and simple. It is not a fancy office with big desks, just a practical space where we organize our trips. We know the trails around Ladakh well because this is where we live. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, but that is just how things are in Leh and we deal with it. If you are walking down Fort Road, you just look for the sign and come up the stairs to find us. We keep things pretty simple here. There is not much else to say other than we spend a lot of our time planning routes and making sure the vehicles are in good shape. It is a lot of work but it is what we do every day. We usually have some tea ready if someone stops by to ask questions about the mountain passes or the weather.
