Compass Travel

You can find Compass Travel over at Db2 in the Lba Shopping Complex. It’s in the Zangsti area of Leh. It’s a decent spot, pretty central for anyone walking around town. We’ve been set up here for a while now. The complex is usually humming with people. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. It’s a functional space where we plan out trips. We know Ladakh inside out because we were born here. We’ve walked the trails and driven the high roads more times than I can count. When people come in, we just talk to them like neighbors. We don't have a scripted pitch. We just tell you what's possible and what isn't. Some years the rain makes things hard, other years the sun is just right. We take it as it comes. Zangsti is a good neighborhood to be in. Our office is small, but it works for us. We handle the logistics so people don't have to worry too much. We focus on the things that matter, like making sure the permits are in order and the drivers know where they’re going. It's a lot of coordination behind the scenes. We like the work, even when it’s hectic in July. That’s just the way it is at Compass Travel. We're just a bunch of locals making things happen in 194101. No fancy uniforms or corporate talk, just us at the shop.
