Alps Adventure

You can find Alps Adventure right near the Hotel Yak Junction on Fort Road. It is a good landmark because almost everyone in Leh knows where that is. Our office is right there in the heart of the town. We have been working in the travel business here for some time. It is a small operation, mostly just us and a few local guides that we work with regularly. We do not have a fancy website or a big marketing team behind us. We just sit in the office and plan out the treks and tours for whoever happens to stop by. The area around Fort Road is always full of people, especially in the peak summer season. We spend a lot of our time making sure the permits are sorted and that all the gear is in good shape for the mountains. Life in Ladakh moves at its own pace, which is something you get used to. Some days are very hectic and others are quite slow. We like talking to travelers about the different routes, especially the ones that are not as crowded as the main spots. We grew up around these mountains, so they feel like home to us. The office is a bit cluttered with maps and old supplies, but we know exactly where everything is. It is a practical place for people who actually want to go out and see the landscape. We just do our job and wait for the snow to clear.
