Exotic Travel

We’ve been running Exotic Travel for a while now from our spot in the Hemis Complex at the Zambala Hotel. You can find us right on Zangsti Road here in Leh. It’s a busy little area but we like it. We mostly help people figure out how to get around Ladakh without too much trouble. It gets cold here in the winters so we spend a lot of time drinking butter tea and planning for the summer months when things pick up. Most of the folks who come in are just looking for a reliable driver or a clear map of the mountain passes. We try to keep things simple because life in the mountains is complicated enough as it is. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, but we are usually at the desk if you need to ask a question about trekking or jeep hires. We know the roads pretty well since we grew up around here. It’s not a big fancy office, just a room with some chairs and a lot of maps pinned to the walls. We don't do anything flashy. If you are walking down Zangsti Road, you'll probably see our sign. Just stop by if you want to talk about your trip. We’ve seen the weather change in minutes so we always tell people to pack an extra sweater even if the sun is out. That's just how it is in Leh.
