Extreme Adventure

Our office for Extreme Adventure is located on Fort Road, inside the Hotel Lumbini Complex. Fort Road is a good place to be because there are lots of shops and places to eat nearby. We’ve been here in Leh for quite a long time and we know how the seasons change the mountains. We don't try to be anything we're not. We are just a bunch of people who like climbing and trekking and want to help others do it too. Our office isn't very large, but it's full of equipment and maps. We spend a lot of time cleaning ropes and checking tents because your life depends on that stuff when you're up high. We don't use a lot of big words or try to sound like a huge travel corporation. We are just local experts who know which peaks are doable and which ones are too dangerous in the wind. Sometimes we have to tell people they aren't ready for a certain climb, which isn't always what they want to hear, but it's the truth. We’d rather you stay safe than take a risk you can’t handle. If you're staying near Fort Road or just walking by, feel free to drop into the Lumbini Complex. We are usually around to chat about the local peaks and the weather. There is almost always a pot of tea on the stove here.
