We are located on Shanti Stupa Road in Leh. It is a good spot because you get a bit of a breeze up here. Our office isn't very large, just enough space for us to work and for people to sit down for a minute. We deal with all sorts of travel things around Ladakh. Sometimes it’s a trip to the monasteries and other times it’s just helping someone find a taxi. We live here year-round, even when it gets really cold and most people leave for the winter. Shanti Stupa Road is quite famous, so it’s easy for people to find us. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or anything. We just have our desks and some folders with all the local rules and permits. Dealing with the paperwork can be a bit of a headache, but we do it every day so we are used to it. The view from near our office is pretty nice, looking out over the valley. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We are just a local travel service. We talk to the drivers, we check the routes, and we make sure things are moving. Life in Leh is slow but we keep busy enough. If you’re walking up towards the stupa, you’ll probably pass by us. It’s a good place to stop and ask about the roads or get some directions.
