Up on the first floor of the White House Complex on Fort Road, that’s where you’ll find our office. It’s right in the middle of Leh, so things stay pretty moving. We’ve been running Amitabh Tours & Travels for a while now. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and checking on drivers. Ladakh isn't an easy place to travel if you don't know the routes, especially during the peak season. We spend a lot of time helping people understand the distances between places like Pangong and Nubra. It looks short on a map, but it’s a whole day of driving. We just try to be practical about what can be done in a week or two. The office gets a bit dusty with all the wind coming off the mountains, but it's a good spot to work. We handle the paperwork and the bookings so visitors don't have to worry about the boring stuff. Fort Road is always loud with traffic and people, but inside the White House building, it's a bit quieter. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just making sure the cars arrive on time and the hotels know who is coming. It’s a small operation, but we know the area like our own backyard.
